I Am the Pilot

Hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY, emo-rock outfit I Am The Pilot are comprised of bassist Todd Ross, guitarist Sean Donahue, vocalist Chad Gannon, drummer Josh Rapala, and guitarist/vocalist Justin Kaczmar. Working on building their local fan base, they recorded their debut EP, I am the Pilot Presents: The Mission, with John Naclerio (Brand New, My Chemical Romance) before inking a deal with Broken English Records and hitting the road. Shows with acts like Bayside, Chiodos, and hometown peers Matchbook Romance followed before their full-length Crashing Into Consciousness surfaced in the spring of 2007. ~ Corey Apar, All Music Guide
